Norovirus? food poisoning? something else?!

Question: My partner has diarreha and cant get warm even though he is all wrapped up in blankets and jumpers.
This came on extreamly suddenly today - like one minute he was fine and now he's not!. He's not rushing to the loo and he hasnt been that many times but its loose when he does. He hasnt got cramps but he says his stomach 'feels strange' - like curney and unsettled. and he feels generally really ill. A few people i know have had the Norovirus recently but no one he knows has and i havnt had it. could it be that or something else? he has some cheese for lunch today that i was suspicious of but is this too quick for food poisoning - it came on about 4pm.
he needs to be better by monday as he has a really important interview.
what is it and will he be better by monday?

If he has to be better my Monday, take a trip to the emergency room --- they can test him and find out what it is exactly and get him on the right meds if he needs it. May not be an emergency per se -- doesn't sound like it but it sure won't hurt if he gets it fixed now. Wrap him up in some blankets, take some bags in case he gets sick in the car and drive down there -- they'll also be able to probably give him something to help with that awful feeling in his stomach.....it doesn't mean he had to be around someone -- he could have gone to the store and pushed a grocery cart with germs on it. Washing hands is the #1 way to keep from getting sick or giving others something --- wash hands ALWAYS -- and you can always carry small antibacterial items with you for the store, etc. I'm not at all paranoid -- but I work in a hospital -- and I KNOW what helps......

it's yo mama

yeah that happens to be food poison.

if he wants to feel better and clear out his system
