What are these symptoms for?!

Question: Im 18 and i am fit and eat well, but i got the flu about 2 weeks ago. I can't remember if i was ever so sick...i was bed-bound for 4 days and my neck was swollen because of my glands.

However, even since then, and maybe before, Ive been feeling generally exhauted all the time. I can sleep for 10 hours at night, get up to have my breakfast, and just need to lie down again and go to sleep, which is unusual for me.

Also, ive been waking up on even cold nights soaked with sweat, and I am generally sweating a lot after minor exertions. Ive had very bad muscle pains all over my body following activities such as walking or dancing, and I couldnt even write yesterday - my arm kept spasming every time I put pressrue on the pen! I have also had pins and needles in my arms and legs.

Ive also concentration problems, which was really frustrating because I was doing exams

It feels quite like glandular fever, which I had about 4 years ago, but you cant get that twice.

Any ideas?

These are general symptoms and could be caused by a variety of things. You need to have some bloodwork drawn, which means you need to make an appointment with your primary care physician. He/she can determine the source of your symptoms based on the results.

I have a crazy idea. Doctor?

You still have the flu. I had it one year for over 3 months. Have to ride it out. Flu bug is a rough virus. Body needs time to beat it.

Are you sure you just sweat a lot or do you have something on ur mine bugging you. If something is on ur mine like someone died or your best friend stole your crush. Or a family problem. If, so go to the most quiet place in your house and talk to yourself through a mirror. Or keep putting so much blankets on you.

Well it could probably be one of one hundred things. But Depression/ Stress could be what is wrong with you. The fatigue, aches, and concentration problems. If you have been under a lot of stress you might want to google stress/depression and see if that could be it. You really could be stressed still from being so sick. But Im no doctor just queen of stress. I hope I helped you some

sounds like AIDS!

One advantage of getting older is your body has more experience in dealing with the common cold. as you get older the common cold will be less severe - at least that's what happened to me.stay in touch with a family doctor and don't smoke - this will really drag you down.
and Relax

You really should go to the doctor. Your symptoms sound like mononucleosis, which is the medical term for glandular fever. In most cases, it is true that once you've had mono, you can't get it again, but there are rare incidences in which you can get it again. Because your symptoms are so severe, I would highly recommend you see a doctor STAT!

You sound like you have mononucleosis (mono). Why don't you go see a doctor and tell him your symptoms? Make him take some blood and see if you have a viral infection (like mono). You need to see a doctor. You obviously are quite ill and if left untreated could develp complications. See a physician IMMEDIATELY!!!
