i don't think you can just if it's in a breathing treatment try to have something to eat... it makes me shake less

If its asthma you have, the new thought process is to use the albuterol as little as possible. You will see commercials saying if you have to use your rescue inhaler (albuterol) more then twice per week, your asthma is not in control. This is a recommendation from the national asthma guidelines.

If you are using it daily, you could ask your doctor for other respiratory medications that may help you get off the albuterol. Most are known as controller medications.

This is mostly for asthma however it can work for other respiratory diseases as well. Ask your doctor.
