Please Help! My mom is in the hospital in the ICU unit, what can it be ?!
Question: They found a growth on my mom's lung. She hasn't been able to swallow for some time, but this past wednesday it was really bad. They admitted her in the hospital, so far they have given her a TB test b/c she had been coughing up blood. They ruled that out when no bump formed. Now, they have scheduled her for a biopsy on Tuesday. Guys, i'm really scared and I have already lost one person to cancer. I CANT LOSE MY MOM!!!! I can't stop crying, im trying to be strong b/c i'm at work. I want to be at the hospital with her! I will have a follow up question. Thanks for all your help!

I agree with the others and my prayers are with you and your mom. I know what you are going through. I almost lost my mom to cancer and things were really bad for a while. She is a cancer survivor of 9 years. You need to be strong for your mom whatever she has.
Speculation will just scare you more. Just hang tight, spend time with your mom, pray, and hope for the best. The only definitive answer will be after the biopsy results are back.
True, it doesn't sound good. Just know that the doctors are there to help and I am sure that they will do everything possible to do so.

if your mom is in the hospital tell work and they will let you go to the hospital. calm down until you know what's going on.
I agree with Research. You won't know anything until after the biopsy. Maybe your job will let you off. Try to think positive. Pray, meditate, whatever helps you calm. God bless and luck to you both.
Right now you need to be positive...they haven't given her a death sentence yet and anyway they don't have that control either.....just think positive and be positive...that is the best medicine for her and you...she gets out she is going to need your help...so you have to stay healthy and get plenty of rest to be able to help her...think positive....if i could hug you and be with you i would...hang in there............................
I see you have a lot on your mind, I'm very sorry for what you are going thru, there is no one like your Mom. Ask your supervisor can you take a few days off so you can spend more time with her. As far as your Mother condition is concerned people on here cannot help you with this q. Even if a Doctor read this q. he would still need to look at your Mother's health records, examine her, and run tests of his own. My heart and prayers go out to you.
