Did they eat something bad or something they weren't suppose to eat?
I would call their pediatrician anyway...there has to be someone covering for the regular doctor while they are away....put a call into the office anyway...
It sounds like it could be a stomach virus, but then again, who knows? It's better to be safe than sorry...so call the doc.
Meanwhile, have them eat rice, crackers, pretzels, and let them drink some ginger ale...pedialyte would be even better...this will allow them to keep hydrated...
Hope all is well soon.

I'm not sure but make sure they are getting lots off fluids and some pedalite..do you have an advice nurse you can call...best wishes...you should go to the ER if it keeps getting worse...

Gastrointestinal Virus--the only thing you can do is try to keep your kids comfortable and well-hydrated. If they are not throwing up, the BRAT diet may help (Bananas Rice Applesauce Toast). Those foods are bland, easy to digest, and low in fiber. Also, lots of hand washing is in order since this can be quite contagious. They should be better within a few days.

Well I would take them to the ER if it worsens, but in the meantime, be sure to make sure that they wash thier hands often, and have them drink lots of fluids. Make sure they have plenty of rest. possibly tums for them, but ask your doctor before giving them to your 2-year-old.
