Desperate HELP - Nasal Sugery - Deviated Septum?!

Question: I had a nasal surgery a couple hours ago, specifically a repair of nasal septum and resect inferior turbinate. I read everywhere online and even heard the nurses mentioned this if I recalled correctly that you should not blow out, does this mean not to exhale or just not to blow your nose? I tried contacting the after hour number that referred to a call center who contacted a nurse to call me back. I called a total of 5 times and unfortunately, they can't seem to do anything else for me but to try to get a hold of the nurse. Here's the problem, when I am about to fall asleep, I find that my nose is exhaling on its own and I thought I also heard myself snoring. I do have minor sleep apnea problem too. Has anyone witness or heard of this before??

Any input would be extremely appreciated. I can't get my rest (sleep) until I get more info on this.

Thanks in advance!

It is OK to breathe through your nose (if you can).

Just don't blow it. The extra force, strain, pressure could slow your healing at this early stage.

You've got to give yourself time to heal. The first couple of nights will be tough because of the swelling. You will have trouble sleeping and breathing out of your nose-this will remedy itself within a few days. The swelling will go down and it will be better than ever!
Continue the meds as your doctor prescribed and DO NOT blow your nose!!! Wait until your post op visit for the okay to blow it-it will screw up the pressure in your nasal passages.
