My temperature right now is 98.5, it's usually 96.7, is that a fever?!

Question: I feel crappy, but I can still move around and such. Is that considered a fever?

Answers: I feel crappy, but I can still move around and such. Is that considered a fever?

i have a normal temp of 96.4, and my doctor tells me my fever area is considered 97.6 and higher.

96.7 is a bit low for a "normal" body temperature; but yes that would be considered a fever in your case. Even with a fever you can still move around.

I have the same problem! I'm usually coastin' at 96.5ish. I would guess 98.5 it's a fever. It's higher than what you normally are...

Wait... what if we're normally sick?!

no normal is 98.6

I think the staring point for a fever is like 97.5. So, you might just have a small fever. You could also just have a headache and not a fever. If your head hurts but your temp is normal.

Check it again in an hour to see if it is still rising . . . . . . then I would say you have a fever.

if 96.7 is normal for you than 98.5 we be considered a temperature. Everyone is different you know your body. it will give you there signs of a fever. example.. your lips could dark pink or you cold fine bumps that's usually with a very high fever. Also if your freezing and your temp is high
