What did you do when you had/have ocd?!

Question: ok i know i have ocd. but i just want to make sure ido. so when i was 4 years old i had an ictch on my arm so i scratched it then on my leg but before i scratced my leg i had the urge to scratch my arm even though it wasn't itchy. then my neck itched so i had to scratch my leg then my arm then my neck. so anyway as years passed i did more ocd-ish things. constinatly counting in my head. cracking my head backwards 3 times.splashing my face with water depending on my age.(12 years old 12 times 13 years old 13 times) and other things. so on tv when i was 13 i found out i had ocd from watching a show with ppl with ocd. so i told my mom and she said i was just being silly.i told her 3 other times but same response and it frusrating me. 3 years later still kinda have it (bugs the crap out of me when my bookshelf and counter in my bathroom are unorganized) but that's pretty much it. for the past 12 years have been true frustrating hell. so what ocd things do you do?

I am not really sure if I have OCD or not....but here are some things that really bother me. The stuff in my bathroom is always the same way, no matter what. I could put on my makeup and wash my hair and brush it with my eyes closed. My clothes in my closet have to be organized by the type of shirt. For example, long sleeve, sweat shirt, t-shirt, a preppy type shirt (abercrombie, hollister, polo), and tank tops. All of my flip flops are hanging on my door and the are hanging by color, type, and size. To be completely honest, I get really upset if anyone changes any of this. In school, when I am putting stuff in my bookbag, all of the stuff has to go a certain way. Also, when I am opening my locker, I always turn it four times instead of three. I get really frustrated when the toilet paper is going under instead of over. It is really hard for me to step on people's grass when I go on walks and I almost never step on the cracks in the sidewalk. Let's see, I put all of my jewelry on in a certain order and take it all off in a certain order and put it in a certain spot. If I am in school and I am writing a paper, if there is like one mark on the page, I have to rewrite it because I think it looks awful. I could go on forever but I'm sure you are sick of reading this. Like I said, I'm not really sure if that's OCD but I've been told a ton of times that I am OCD by my friends. I hope this is what you were looking for.

Meds in conjunction with cognitive therapy can be highly effective in cases that impede daily living.
Cognitive therapy for milder cases can work.
Talk to you doctor.

oh i always counted in my head too, like if i was sitting in church i would look at the pastor or whatever and count their body parts. sounds wierd i know but it really wasn't, it was just this obsessive thing, i'd sit there and in my head just count.
i rethink everything i just did or thought about, for example, when i submit this answer, i'll no doubt be sitting here thinking about how i typed a bunch of stuff then submitted it then sat and thought about it and am now thinking about how i was thinking about how i thought about all this.
lol crazy i know but unfortunately i'm stuck with it =/
