good question dude. i wish we could just go back in time and just get rid of the person who started this all off. took some of the fun out of sex and now you gotta think if the person you're having sex with has aids or herpes. that sucks

some dodgy experiments i should imagine

dirty gits who never washed their 'bits'

Everything bad in this world evolved from animals.

dont believe the monkey idea

I'm sure they have been around as long as animals have been having sex. There are many STD's in the animal community too. Pretty much every species has it's own STD's.

Viruses and bacteria evolved to be transmitted through any and all mean possible.

Viruses and bacteria have always been with us. They are part of nature's way of evolving species and thinning the herd. They just evolved into being.

If you want a quick answer, they all came from Pandora's box. It wouldn't be true, really, but it's as true as saying it started with monkey love.

AIDS is now known to have originated among the Bonobo Chimps of the Upper Congo. These gentle creatures are used extensively as "Bush Meat". It takes little imagination to work out that processing this meat source would be extremely hazardous.

Genital Herpes is caused by the same virus as the one which causes cold sores!........... Herpes Simplex. Oral sex with a person displaying cold sores springs to mind as a transmission medium.

Gonorrhoea is a bacterial infection, of the Gram-negative variety and is the only truly sexual disease, of those listed in the question. It is, however, easily treated with a broad spectrum anti-biotic............ unlike the others!
