STD question...?!

Question: My boyfriend and I are thinking about having sex. It would be the first time for both of us, and we were talking about whether or not we really needed to get tested for STDs. Now I know that STD stands for sexually transmitted dieses, but I've heard from some people you can have STDs without having sex. So I guess my question is; do we really need to worry about getting tested if neither of us have had sex before?

it would be a good idea but they don't always test for everything with an std test. ask what they test for and incude anything that u are worried about. u can get stds through giving and recieving oral sex and even just kissing. if u don't feel u need to please use condoms.

no but if its something you feel ify about then just do it i mean neither one of you are hiding anything maybe its just in your heart to make sure

Get tested anyway.

It is good practice to wear a condom everytime. Your boyfriend may be telling you he's a virgin and he may have had sex with 20 girls. Never trust someone when your life is at stake. Maybe your boyfriend has HIV/AIDS from another sourse other that from having sex. Have you had oral sex? You can get herpes from oral sex!!! Protect yourself.

Wait for ten or so years may be twenty perhaps get married and then have fun. Hard test to pass. Its called a CBS test.

if you have both never had sex what are you worried about? just use a condom cuz he could be lying to you...you never know better safe than sorry :)

get the tests. there are some disease that can be caught from oral sex and even from touching a diseased sex organ.
