Every morning I wake up and my top lip is swollen?!

Question: Not extremely swollen, but you can see it, and it tingles, the swelling goes down usually by around 6 pm or so, and it's not painful or anything, I don't know if I should get allergy tested or anything though. Also, I don't wear lipstick/lip balm or anything. Any ideas what it could be and if I should get allergy tested?

I have the exact same thing and the swelling also takes until about 6 pm to go down. I've been having this daily for months and the medication is not working. I've been to an allergist and was told I had pressure hives under my skin on my body, but he didn't know if the lip thing was related. Look up angioedema on the net. It's what you have. I would go to an allergist as your throat might swell if you ignore it too long. My throat has swelled so many times I've lost count. I don't even bother going to the emergency anymore. Last time it happened, I went and saw a movie instead. I find as long as I remain calm, the swelling goes down. You probably should carry an Epipen with you and a coulple of benadryl to take if it effects your throat.

Sorry to say so, but that does sound like an odd one. Also sounds like some sort of allergy.

Seems to be a allergy to something in your bedroom instead of guessing why dont u see a dermatologist?

talk to your doctor.

get tested for std,,,,,,,,,,,,i think it behoovs you, dear

it sounds like herpes simplex.
Look it up
