13 Month Old With A Bad Cold?!

Question: Ok so my daughter has a really bad cold that she has had for almost 5 days now. She (I am assuming cuz no one else is) even got me sick. I have a sore throat and I can tell by the way she cries that she may have one as well. What can I give her at this point other then the tylenol and motrin to make her feel better? She has had a slight fever and is not eating good at all which totally worries me because she is a skinny one. I am not quite sure what else I can give her to keep her comfortable. I have turned on the humidifier and I have given her, like I said, tylenol and motrin. Yes I called my doctor but they didn't think it seemed all that urgent. Also she now has TONS of thick greenish yellowy mucus coming out of her nose. And I mean alot. Some suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Take her to the docs sounds like she has an infection of some sort and may need anti biotics to treat it.

You're doing the right things. You might have to resort to saline nose drops and suction, but that usually resembles war, and it probably isn't worth the fight.

If the mucus is yellowish/greenish, that means there is a possible (probable) sinu infection going on in her body.
Please, get her to the Dr. asap, even a walk in clinic if need be. The sooner she is on antibiotics, the better.
Also, if you use one of those baby nose syringe thingys that helps clean out her nose, or she could maybe (?) blow her nose, or have it wiped often by you (you've probably done that for the past week).
I hope both of you feel better soon. Take care.
