I have a toenail that is almost off, only attached on one side. What is the best!

Question: This is gonna sound weird but if it's still slightly attached, wrap black electric tape around it(the way you would a band aid) and just leave it on for a day or two(maybe 3). When you do finally remove the tape the nail should come off with it and NO PAIN!

Yeah, that's happened to me a few times. I've pulled them off before (just tug gently on it and if it hurts then leave it) and a new one will grow back. If it hurts when you try and pull it, just put a bandaid around it and it will naturally come off on its own.

Get out your nail clippers and sanding stick.

Cut off the dangling part as close to your toe as possible. Sand off the rest so that your socks cant snag on the nail.

Ouch! Never had that problem, but I've had ingrowns before and they're no picnic either. It hurts to even put shoes on.I dunno.Just get a pair of vise grips, close your eyes, and give it a good, quick yank. That's far less painful.Just like pullin a band-aid off.It hurts a lot more if you pull it slow rather than fast.Go see a doc if you are squeemish.

snatch it off!

soak your foot and it should come off easier
