Osteoperosis?!

Question: I am experiencing pain in my bones (feet, legs, back). My teeth are getting really soft also. I was on heparin for 10 months ( I was told heparin causes a calcium/vitamin D deficiency) Could I have osteoperosis? My Grandmother and Great-Grandmother had it.

Its a possibility. You need to have a bone-density scan to be sure. See your GYN

Make sure you go for a bone density scan and start to replace the vitamins your body lost taking heparin for so long. Osteo does depends on your age also but sometimes it does not.
