Help advice please ?!
Question: i have had just had my colon removed due to ulcerative coltis and have a colostomy they are on about something called a j pouch but i have heard that they have a high faluire rate so i am a little relucentent to have one . Also the hospital i am at is rubbish and i do not want to go back there , as i live in the uk i would not be able to swap hospitals , has anyone had any ex[perices with the j pouch or a colostomy bag

I have half of my colon removed but do not have to use the bag. A couple of my friends have had colostomies and they have no trouble with the bag at all. In fact when we go out you can't even tell that they have this medical problem. This is something that you have to have and it will work out fine for you.
