Help!1 please?!

Question: I've been having headaches sometimes slight pain behind my eyes and sometimes on one side of the head. At times, I feel my eye hurts when it moves. I'm going to the doctor soon, but I don't know if this is serious like a swollen optic nerve or brain tumor. I'm 18 btw :(

Do you have any pain in your ears or temperature, if so it could be a sinus infection or an ear infection. Also you may just need glasses. If you are straining your eyes alot it could cause those symptoms too. Dont jump to conclusions, it is probalby something simple. A brain tumor is very very unlikely.

I use to have thoses.. they were causes by stress.. my doctor told me they were tenion heachaches.. also they can be causes by your senues.. if you have alot of running noses and whatnot.. the pressure can build up and cause headaces.. you can also get headaches around your eyes if you need glasses or your prescribition is going bad.. its a sign your eyes are struggling.

It's more likely to be a migraine or other type of headache than a tumor or any other rare diagnosis like that. Headaches causing that type of pain are common. Relax! See your doctor to discuss it.

I starting getting migraines for the first time at your exact age from my birth control pills. But what are ya gonna do? It was better than a baby (I guess!).
