A cold tends to last about 3-4 days but it is common to get a secondary infection that can mean you have a bunged up nose for a few weeks. There's not much else you can do other than find some tissues that don't hurt your nose so much and use a decongestant regularly. You can buy decongestants from your local pharmacy.
If it doesn't go away after a few weeks you may have an allergy to something and want to get some antihistamines.

I have had a stuffed nose for probobly all of my 5th grade. but my mother told me the reason for it was that I have ahd too many dairy products, so from then on too no that i'm in 8th grade I realize I have to be vegan and that's what I have done and I now have excellant health as thin as ever and feel great with a non-mucusy voice, feels great.

Sniff some tea tree oil. That'll clear your head out really well! You can put a mug half full of water in the microwave until it's boiling. Take it out and, while hanging over the steam, drop a couple of drops of Tea Tree Oil in it and inhale. I also do this every time I feel a cold coming on or when I think I might have been exposed to someone with a cold. Haven't had a cold in years.
