How long till the norovirus starts to recess a bit?!

Like I know its more common in the winter, so how long until its less common.
I'm just freaked out because I'm scared of germs and sick, so it horrible for me at the moment.

As soon as it gets warmer, the virus has a harder time to manifest on inanimate surfaces and will, therefore, occur less often.
*Coming in contact with an infected person will get you sick, no matter the season.
