I have a sexual question that i need answered by a female with GERDS.....?!

Question: if you are offended by sexual content please do not read lol

okay i feel very awkward asking this question
but i have GERD and i have it pretty bad
during an attack the acid reaches up to the very top of my throat and sometimes i will throw up pure acid
i am on nexium twice a day and it seems to be under control for the most part
but sometimes i still get a little heart burn

i have never given any type of oral sex to a guy before
but my friend and i were talking about it today
and it got me to thinking

would it be possible for me to give a BJ to a guy without it being very uncomfortable/impossible?
i know that stomach acid is strong
and the penis is a very senstive part of the body

also, if it is possible to give a BJ
would it be possible to deep throat or would that be more dangerous for him or me?

First of all for John who answered before...GERD is Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease or the terrible heartburn in which stomach acid is actually forced up into the throat.
Now, to answer the question. If you are still continuing with breakthrough reflux, you might want o ask your doc if you can try a different med. The only one I get relief from is Prevacid. I do still take a occasional Maalox. You should not still be having acid in your throat. That needs to be addressed before you have permanent esophageal damage that can lead to cancer.
As far as the BJ. I agree that you should not be doing that without a condom unless you are both committed to each other and in a monogomous relationship. The acid that goes in your throat causes raw patches through which viruses(HIV, Herpes and Hepatitis, etc...) can easily enter. Any of those viruses can kill, even the Herpes if it goes systemic.
Yes, stomach acid that reaches your mouth during a BJ can cause some irritation to the delicate opening of the penis if no condom is used.
As far as deep throating, I wuld not advise this since your tissues have already been damaged from past acid and possibly present episodes. If you have a potential weak spot you could be injured and require treatment.
I'm not saying this stuff will all happen, but you asked what if...so here you are!

you shouldnt be doing it without a condom either way..

eww, wat the hell is GERDS i woulnt want my chick blowing me if she had whatever that is

it would be dangerous to him
with a sexual disease it is always possible to spread it to another person
so if you spread it to him, he might spread it to another person
so the cycle never ends.

If you have a bad gag reflex, I would not recomend deepthroating. It will just make you throw up. It would be nearly impossible for you to burn the guys penis with stomach acid, because you would have to literally throw up on his penis. You would feel it coming up your throat and therefore be able to safely get it out of harms way. But stomach acid doesn't burn the inside of your mouth when you throw it up, so it wouldn't burn his penis either. I would say not to worry about him so much. Have you tried Prilosec? It works really well for my husband. I would say bottom line, try it out and see what your gag reflex is like, and go from there. Good luck....

Gerd is not a sexually transmitted desease!!!! its a form of reflux...

Yes you can have a NORMAL sexual relationship, my sister has the problem and she is in a relationship and sexually active...

You may ask your boyfriend to use condom. I suggest you ask this question on www.pozcupid.com, where people with sexual problem are talking

Well, to answer your rather lengthy question, I have GERD and have had it for 20+ years. I take Asiphex and have NEVER had any complaints about ever causing my guy to be uncomfortable or to even know when I'm having an attack unless I tell him so.

Hope this helps.
