What should I do with my acne?!

Question: I have spent over 3000 dollers on my face and altered my diet yet nothing works. I have tried everything from A to Z, proactive, prescriptions, toothpaste, milk and lemon, milk and honey you name it. The only thing that seems to work is removal by needle and nails. I am freaking out. What should I do

try neutrogena. do the three step " exfoliating, cleansing and moisturing" the good thing withneutrogena is that it works on your skin form the inside towards the outside. so you may not see the results immediately, but give it time and be patient. it pays off......and stick to one product. most products dont work immediately, you need to use several tubes of lotion for the effect to really take place. so be patient with the product you choose

besides that, i'd suggest you just take it easy. you are still yound, the acne will wear off eventually, and you will see how handsome your skin will turn out to be naturally.

i know your distress. bcoz i went thru it. my dermatologist prescribed a medication that cost me 700 per prescription, eventually i threw it out of the winodw coz teh side effects were too much i let it lie, and i turned out more than just fine

oh yeah, and drink lots of water too

cheers

Neutrogena Severe Acne thingy works. Like totally. Have you tried that? =]

well popping them is fine, but follow up with some good cleaner like clean and clear, and then a moisturizer from clean and clear, if that doesn't work i hear proactive works great.

acutane seems to be the best option for you.

What worked for me was the Dermalogica line of products. Trie out one of the small travel sets for a few months (choose one according to skin type) to see if it suits you. I had acne before, and posacea (yikes) and I after a year I am very well! Drink lots of water, too! This helps a LOT. look it up to see where they sell it

There's this acne system called glyderm. It worked really well with me. And I had TERRIBLE acne. It's not too costly, and there are doctors you can go to that use this stuff too. GlyMasque, in my opinion, is most useful. Look it up!

next time your in the shower, have the hot water on, but not too hot dont burn your face, stand under it for a few minutes and then gently scrub your face with your nails, dont scratch though ! continue this routine everyday for a while and this should slowly reduce and if not it will prevent new pimples from coming.

and if u havnt been to a dermatoligist i would recomnd it, ask for roacatane. its very strong and reduces acne in around 2 weeks.

all the best ! =]

what ever you do, don't pop!!! touching your face alone causes acne, especially if you touch your hair then your face. and popping a pimple ANYWHERE on the body, will make another one pop up somewhere else. just by leaving them alone, you should be able to get rid of some.
have you gone to a dermatologist? when i was in high school i got tetracycline and that worked wonders! i absolutely loved it. i dont know if they still prescribe it out, but they do prescribe other stuff that may help. if your acne is really bad, try asking the doctor about acutane.
also, there is this product in walmart and drug stores called "natures cure". thats what i use, its a pill that you take both morning and night and after a couple of weeks you really start to see a difference. it also comes with a benozide cream that but it dries out the skin. for under my makeup, i use terminator 10 by acnefree. it works and it doesnt dry out my skin. i also use neutrogena body wash only on my back and chest, and i use neutrogena deep clean for my face in the shower.
i also use an astringent: biore triple action. i noticed that if i dont use it for a long time, i will break out, so i think that one really works.
i think your best bet though is to see a doctor. you could even just see a family physician.
if you have any scars, best way to get rid of them is not touching. they also sell neutrogena acne scare fade peel. or microdermabrasion kit.
remember to keep you skin clean (morning and right before you go to bed), dont touch your face, wash your pillow sheets once a week. at night, dab your acne with burt bee's blemish stick (tea tree oil).
i hope this helps, i hate acne!
