oooh you lied.... Lol thats an old wise tail. their not really infection but its gonna be their till it goes away. It's really just a swollen taste bud maybe you bit it or something. It'll go away in like a couple of days. The longest time one of mine have lasted has been like a week. Not to freak you out. But it's go away soon.

It's just a blister - this happens when you burn your tongue on something. It's going to hurt and if you can stomach the pain, pinch it until it pops. This isn't always the best option, but it will insure that it won't hurt in 24 hours.

it could be a blister or ulcer or thrush try using some mouth wash with anticeptic it will help clear it quicker and sooth the pain

It sounds like an ulcer. you can get rid of it with Cordosol mouth wash or if you are very brave put salt straight onto it or wash your mouth out with salt water. It will go in a couple of days.

i get these they are annoying but they just go on there own i think they are pimples

Its a kanker sore like thingy, don't mess with it or it won't go away and it will hurt more and get bigger. You can't really get rid of it. But to ease the pain i usually put ice on it

i had one this afternoon - i bit it off!
hurt like hell but at least it stopped it catching my teeth
i thought it was a blister [full of fluid]
when i removed it , it was a solid mass

Sounds maybe like a spot on your tongue or an ulcer - bonjela will soothe it, or just call into your local chemist and they should be able to help

it is a blister ok

Just an ulcer ......Did you know they use to call them lie bumps ? I got them a lot when i was younger.

Try putting salt on it and see what happens.

It is possibily a mouth ulcer. Try rinstead pastles.
