Sore Throat, Dry Cough, Running Nose?!
Question: I've had these symptoms for about 3 or 4 days and i cant go to school 'cause i cant speak and everytime i swollow it hurts like hell. Everytime i cough it's painful and no flem will come out. Ive been taking Robitssun and Benyln but it doesnt seem to be working... What can i do/take to get rid of the flem? And i have basketball practice tomorrow. so i need something in like a day.. Thanks=)

You likely do not have the flu. Influenza is a virus that causes fever, nausea, headaches, and muscle aches. Sore throat, cough, and nasal congestion mean you have a severe cold. Get plenty of fluids and vitamin C. Rest as much as you can. You should probably talk to your coach about sitting out practice for the good of the team.
You have the flu...resting is the best way to get rid of it...these things just have to run their course. And if you have any kind of fever, overdoing it will just make it worse....
See an acupuncturist/herbalist. They will be able to help you kick the symptoms quicker.
