ok... here goes. the reason you weren't allergic before and are now is because when you ate the fruits before your body was building antibodies to the substance that you were allergic to but the antibodies weren't strong enough to cause any side effects like the itching lips. but each time you eat them the antibodies build a little stronger. therefore making the reaction a little worse each time you consume the fruit. you may just be allergic to fructose being that is in all fruits but dont let this be a diagnosis. you should go see a doctor so that he/she can tell you what it is in the fruit that is causing the reaction. you dont want it to get to the point that you need an epi-pen to inject everytime you accidently consume a fruit or something with fruit in it. and i know it sounds weird saying that you could be allergic to all fruits but i know a guy who is 53 and has eaten meat all his life and is now allergic. and i have LOVED peanut butter and pb cups and i now am slightly allergic to peanuts.... but for sure... go to the doc and if my explanation wasn't easy to understand im sure that the doc can explain in simpler terms. good luck and be careful!
