Anxiety and health?!


Question: I have bad anxiety which causes me to worry about my health all day. It was my stomach before now its my head. It bad in the moring I feel off balance and sometimes have headaches but not to bad. I can walk a stright line and stand with my eyes closed ok, but when iam walkin i fell off balance and i panic. Can anxiety do this if iam constanly worring. Also will have have some mentall confusion too. Mom says it all me but i dunno. It seems it got worse after i was sick a few weeks ago with a flue. Iam worring about tumors. I never fallin but i dont no if its all anxiety and stress. Iam a 20 year old male thanx

I have that exact problem! Man, it's really difficult to deal with, I know that. Like right now, I am nauseous and I'm worrying myself sick! & for the longest time I thought my left leg wasn't working because it felt like I couldn't move it but I only felt that way when I thought about it. And I also feel like I can't balance at all when I'm walking (only when I think about it ofcourse, otherwise I'm fine). I think the first answer you got is good as far as what you can do about it. Don't worry, you're not alone!

Yes. Anxiety can have many physical symptoms, such as headaches, palpitations, sleepless nices etc.

I have been anxious recently and for the first time has phsyical symptoms - it can be pretty scary! But try to relax (I know that's not as easy as it sounds)

Take some time out, listen to music, go for a walk - fresh air is very good. My doctor told me to meditate, yoga etc. If all else fails there is medication for anxiety but they can be addictive, so I wouldn't really suggest it just yet. Try to take your mind of the worrying, counselling can help.

good question. dont know if i have the right answer but i do know a little about feeling anxiety and feeling mental. It sucks! lol the good thing is its manageable. i found that what i eat has a lot to do with how i feel. If i drink lots of coffee or Rockstar's my anxiety rises and im more lightheaded or off-balance when i walk or try to think. Sucks! but i also found out if i drink more water i can still enjoy coffee, Rockstar,sugars and the likes. healthy foods ,though not to tasty to me also help so i stomach them whenever i can. as for your tumor- well unless your a brawler or like to beat your head against brick walls or pop hit you with a frying pan i wouldnt worry too much about it. If you are concerned try the free clinic most will check you for yes 'free' lol or can at least guide you in the right direction. hope this helps.
