Yes it will grow back to normal. My sister and a friend of mine both had that problem. My sister actually redid hers after it healed and had it happen again! Im so glad mine has been in for 5 years and I have never had problems with it. I would think it would take no longer than 2 months. Skin usually heals itself pretty fast. Just make sure u keep the area clean!

you should ask a doctor but it will take a while to heal and grow out
make sure you keep it clean and bandaged so that it doesnt get infected
