Anyone got an increase of Metformin dosage?!
Question: I went from 500mg to 1000mg twice a day. boy its making me feel awfully sick and also very sleepy all day. Anyone going through this?

Your obviously tolerating that much of a dose. Tell your doctor about this. The dose maybe readjusted. If you had not been feeling this way before your medication was adjusted then the dose maybe too much for now. Your doctor may put you on a staggered dosing, 1000 mg in the morning and 500 mg in the afternoon.
Are you remembering to take them with or after meals? If so then you need to go back to your doctor and tell him/her as they can change the dose/medication as needed. I personally am on 500mg three times a day (after breakfast, lunch and tea).
