I have multiple sclerosis. Should I wear a Medic Alert bracelet/necklace?!

Question: Absolutely. My son has MS and he wears one. He often falls and gets disoriented. It is helpful to let people know the cause of the fall/injury instead of assuming that it was from other cause. Also with the MS meds, not all medication can be taken together. Be sure to have your allergies put on the bracelet/necklace also.

Yes, you definitely should wear a Medic Alert bracelet or necklace just in case you would get in an accident. This is for your protection if and when a doctor needs to treat you.

It would be a great idea.

im epileptic and i wear one its saved my life twice so emt didnt give me the wrong meds. please wear one so the emts or doctors know how to treat you.

MS creates almost no problems that a doctor needs to know in an emergency unless you are taking medication. So, with MS, a medic alert generally isn't necessary to avoid life-threatening mistakes in a medical emergency. But it could be helpful for a variety of symptoms that arise from MS and which could be mistaken for signs of a head or spinal injury.
