yes there may be some still alive in the poo; my youngest daughter was dignosed with it last year.
all the family had to be treated as its contagous and worms were still alive and wriggling only about 1/4 of them though and it took about 5 days after the first dose that it stopped but we still had to take another dose 2 weeks later.

I am pretty sure you have to repeat the treatment. And so, yes, you might get live ones still after the first treatment.
Make sure you keep washing bedding and all clothes alot until you know they're gone.
The most common treatment Pripsen works by sweeping the worms out so I guess they are still alive. It is recommended to ensure complete eradication that you really should take the second dose.
not sure if they come out alive or the tablet kills them,you can take a second dose after two weeks if you are still seeing any worms,but usually one dose should do it.
everyone in the family has to be treated at the same time, they come out dead, oh and all have your own towel and flannel, because eggs can get transmitted on these
Do you work in some kind of institution? Around children? You need to report that you have this infection because it is very contagious if it is the kind of worm I think it might be. It comes from poor hygience after using the toilet, and unwashed hands, and the microscopic eggs stay on the hands and are transmitted to food, toys, and to others mouths, and the whole cycle starts again. You can be reinfected again. WASH YOUR HANDS OFTEN, AND TAKE THE MAXIMUM DOSAGE OF MEDICATION. Also, you need to report it because others might have it as well. Do you have children? They might have it. WASH EVERYTHING IN THE HOTTEST SOAPY WATER WITH BLEACH ESPECIALLY YOUR UNDERWEAR. You can also go online to some medical website and research the symptoms and the cure.

Garlic; if you want to torture them, it kills all known parasites and makes you friendless, but it works.
you do have to take the two doses.first is to get rid of the worms and second dose is to get rid of any eggs.
We did it as a family with a single, yellow tablet each, all at the same time. I was gruesome enough to poke the little fellahs with an orange stick to see if they were still stirring. They seemed very dead to me but they might have been feigning it.
Some will be dead & some alive, you must take the 2nd dose & washing bedding flannels ect is advised & dont bite your nails! The herbal remedy is horse radish which is not as strong as pripsen but does have an effect.
