Repost to my stomach issue?!


Question: what r test that can show what is causing stomach pain.. had Cat Scan, stool test, and ovary ultra sound! doctor sed too young 4 any scopes!! please help!! Its the left of my belly button, the pain can be sharp @ times and crampy, yes all those test were negative.. believe its IBS but dont have diaherra or constatation(sp), have a bowel movement after everything i eat PLEASE HELP

well it could be IBS. the movement after you eat indicates that but generally IBS sufferers complain of inconsistancy of the spot of the pain due to the length of the intestine it tends to move around. so yours being in the same place says maybe it is something different. the CT scan would have shown any obstrustion or growths, so i wouldn't worry there. but i know that doesn't help your pain. have you tried somthing for gas? (as silly as that sounds)

Pain that goes into back can be to do with the kidneys but I dont think that is your problem?

You can actually be constipated and not know it. I once had pretty bad fecal loading and had stomach cramps going into my back. All I needed was some laxatives and I was fine.


^^ As Holly said It could easily be gas. How long have you had the pain for?

I would get a colonoscopy just to check everything out. If your doctor says your too young see a different one as I read in your other post that your 20. That is definitly not to young. I had mine when I was 12.
