Is it possible to bruise a lung from a really bad asthma attack?!
Question: Nope. You can't bruise a lung from a severe asthma attack since it affects your airways, also known as bronchi and bronchioles, rather than the lung itself. However a severe attack could have several consequences like pneumothorax (presence of air in the thoracic cavity) or even coma (due to the lack of oxygen going to the brain). If a person is having a very bad case of asthma take him or her to the hospital for proper management. Hope this helps.

It's possible to rupture a small blood vessel if you are violently coughing, but it's not possible to bruise a lung.
