I do not think it is Cancer - It must be Hemorrhoids, which are also called piles, are swollen and inflamed veins in your anus and rectum. Hemorrhoid symptoms usually depend on the location:
* Internal hemorrhoids. You can't see or feel these hemorrhoids. But straining or irritation from passing stool can injure a hemorrhoid's delicate surface and cause it to bleed. You may notice small amounts of bright red blood on your toilet tissue or in the toilet bowl water. Because internal anal membranes lack pain-sensitive nerve fibers, these hemorrhoids usually don't cause discomfort. Occasionally, straining can push an internal hemorrhoid through the anal opening. If a hemorrhoid remains displaced (prolapsed), it can cause pain and irritation.
* External hemorrhoids. These hemorrhoids tend to be painful. Sometimes blood may pool in an external hemorrhoid and form a clot (thrombus), causing severe pain, swelling and inflammation. When irritated, external hemorrhoids can itch or bleed.

However I suggest you to see your doctor and have proper evaluation and treatment.

The general symptoms of Colon Cancer are -

* A change in your bowel habits, including diarrhea or constipation or a change in the consistency of your stool for more than a couple of weeks
* Rectal bleeding or blood in your stool
* Persistent abdominal discomfort, such as cramps, gas or pain
* Abdominal pain with a bowel movement
* A feeling that your bowel doesn't empty completely
* Weakness or fatigue
* Unexplained weight loss

Blood in your stool may be a sign of cancer, but it can also indicate other conditions. Bright red blood you notice on bathroom tissue more commonly comes from hemorrhoids or minor tears (fissures) in your anus, for example. In addition, certain foods, such as beets or red licorice, can turn your stools red. Iron supplements and some anti-diarrheal medications may make stools black. Still, it's best to have any sign of blood or change in your stools checked promptly by your doctor because it can be a sign of something more serious.

I have given these symptoms of colon cancer just for your information so that you can be watchful. Your doctor will tell you exactly what is the problem and give you treatment. Best of luck-

I don't know the symptoms of colon cancer...but I do know that this means you need to get help ASAP!

get off here and GO TO THE DOCTOR!!

You need a proctologist to look at it. Can you guess what kind of doctor that is? Sounds to me like 4 to 1 odds, it is hemorrhoids. But lots of meat causes both. Why? The colon needs fiber to be healthy. All plant foods have fiber, even watermelon. No animal foods have fiber.

One proctologist said to his junior partner, "when I die you will get all my a s s h o l e s."

Yes, this can be a sign of cancer. Webmd also says this can also be a sign of other things ranging from ulcers to anal fissures. Please get to your doctor as soon as possible so they can properly advise you and do necessary tests.

something that serious needs a doctor, and fast, im sure your getting this answer alot but that is NOT normal, you should go into a walk in emergency room as soon as possible if you dont have insurance ask about ur options seeing as its not urgent right this second, but you should go as soon as you can because it just might get worse, this is most likely something that wont go away on its own!
