Does MS always show up on an MRI...?!

Question: I took the MRI, but without dye... so would MS always show up or could it hide?

It almost always will show up on an MRI, but not always; however, that is a small number of people that won't show lesions - only 5%. If there were no lesions seen, there is a 95% chance that there is no MS .

Try posting this in the "other" category! I don't have your answer, but if you are going to a reputable hospital...they should know what procedure to take. What area are you in. I know of a REALLY GOOD MS program in Washington state. (my mom was diagnosed 16yrs ago) Feel free to email me

yes
