if they're bleeding really badly try covering her legs in neosporin. it will take some time and a gentle touch but im sure you don't have a problem with that. that should heal the bleeding quickly (although depending on what type of cancer she has her blood may not clot well unless shes on blood thickeners) but once the bleeding stops or slows then you should put lotion on. also make sure you consult the doctor before putting anything on her because even if she's not alergic the meds could cause a dangerous reaction.

i can't believe no one said this. im really sorry about your girlfriend. my mom died of cancer too, and yeah i know meds do terrible things. but remember they also work miracles.

and if shes still on meds like that it means that the doctors are still trying, becuase if all hope was gone she'd be on hospice and there wouldn't be side-effects like that.

best of luck, and god bless.

Aquaphor or Hydrophor work excellent for dry skin. Lotions have too much fragrance and chemicals, try one of those two products.

try soaking in warm water for a while so the dryness stops a little and put coco butter on it until soon it heals. don't touch it or pick at it at all and don't put any fabric over it since it may rub on her legs and give it iritaions.

Try Aveeno lotions. There are a few of them...you might give one a try. Their hand cream is the best...so I imagine their lotions are just as good.

Clinique body butter... it is not scented so it wont dry her out later, it feels really good on your skin, and then cover her skin in leggings on ace bandages over night every night untill it is better.... good luck, you seem like a good guy

Try organic 100% pure unrefined shea butter. It is all natural, unefined with no side effects. Read about it on this website - www.sliceofnature.com

Have you tried the Gold Bond intensive healing lotion yet? This isn't the medicated kind in the blue bottle. It's in a white bottle with gold and navy trim. It's very gooey and good. You could also try Eucerin, very greasy but healing as well.

Always when buying a moisturizer check to make sure that there is no alcohol like cetyl. Go to a health food store ,or just call the doctor and see what he recommends.Put on at least three times a day and rub well without hurting her.
Wishing you both the best.
