Im sick of feeling sick!?!
Question: I had a nissen fundo when I was 4.
10 years later I am having really bad reflux. My throat hurts, I feel sick, It hurts after eating, my tongue is white and I get acid in my mouth. Today I almost threw up my breakfast.
I had a endoscopy a month ago and the surgeon said my esophogus is really scarred, full of mucus and is inflamed - IS that bad??
He said I will probably need another Funodplication at some point
If I do get another one will my hospital saty be longer then the first? Will it be more complicated?

Have the Nissen fundoplication as soon as possible. Your hospital stay should be shorter than the first one years ago. Procedures have come a long way since 1998.
