Dry hands?!

Question: Ok I have like REALLY dry hands. So dry that sometimes they hurt when I move them and they even crack open and bleed. I have tried so many moisturizers, Burts bees hand creme, petroleum jelly, countless lotions, sweet oil and even coconut oil, but they ALL make my hands break out in hives, they start to burn and my whole hand turns completely red! Does anybody have any ideas what I could try to moisturize them? If you have any natural remedies PLEASE share them!!! Thank You!

Use Vitamin E oil cream

Emmm maybe consult the doctor, sorry about your hands.

Sometimes I put triple anti-biotic cream on mine when they get really bad. It seems to help.

I cant answer your question, but are not alone! I dont get the hives, but my hands crack and bleed and peel. Its aweful.

Sounds like more than just dry hands. You should go to a doctor to make sure you don't have a skin condition such as eczema or even a systemic condition such as hypothyroidism.

If you have something physically wrong with you, no amount of lotions or creams will have an effect on the dry hands. This is especially true with hypothyroidism which causes dry skin and can be a cause of eczema and other skin conditions.

My sister had that and she used some kind of stuff for psoriasis and it went away and never came back

My ex girlfriend has a similar condition. Turns out it runs in the family on their hands and feet and she had to get prescribed creams from the doctor. The biggest/hardest part was getting her to use the damn cream. She was so embarrased she would always walk around with her hands tucked in her sleeves.

I'd honestly consult a physician.

Are you drinking enough water? Do you wash your hands excessively and are you getting all the soap off? Try foam soap if you wash your hand a lot and as for moisturizer, try a body butter, this has worked the best for me.
