Nerve pain in right side of my brain behind eye. What could it be?!

Question: I've had this bad nerve pain in the right side of my head behind my eye. It almost feels like really bad sinus pressure in one little spot behind my eye. I've heard of trigeminal neuralgia before, but I dont have any of the other symptoms like electric pain in the lower face. I do get pain in my right face near my upper lip and nose area but its like an aching pain. My teeth are in good health. Sometimes when I eat certain foods(dried apricots) the pain gets extreme and I cant sleep. I have gone several nights with only a few hours of sleep because I would get these attacks and It would make my whole head shake violently because of the pain. What is this? I dont have insurance, I'm a poor college student. Please help me!

Go to the local Health dept. they can help if it is bad, or go to the ER, they will treat you and work out payment arrangements/ discounts. Sometimes the college has a doctor for you to see at no cost.

I am sorry I dont know the origin of such symptoms. I would think about going to the hospital emergency room to see about getting it looked into. I am an EMT and go in and out all the time. Most hospitals are members of or have programs where there is assistance to either reduce significantly, or in some cases even cover the cost of needed medical care for those without insurance coverage. Simply ask either at the registration desk for info or contact the business office/billing office for the hospital for information. and even if u have no way to pay for care, you cannot be refused treatment, that is the LAW.

Best Wishes
