Trying drugs?!

Question: My friends all do drugs, not frequently and not in a crazy hobo way but because they like it and they say its fun. Im a bit of a wuss and im not going to get into drugs but i would like to try it once, just once, for the experience. Whats a reasonably safe drug to do with a decent enough effect to be worth while? I know i may sound stupid but its something i want to do once and id rather do it safely than take a risk.

Ummm wow....people are extremely judgmental on here.

Look honey, I would love to tell you that I'm 23 and have never tried drugs, but I would be lying to you. Thing is ...I had never done anything...ANYTHING (even cigarettes) until I turned 18...and then had a friend introduce me (I was VERY naive, and gullable) to extasy ....lovely lovely drug...I couldn't believe what I had stumbled upon....thing is though...I got so involved in that drug and "scene" that I forgot that there was a life outside of it, started making very unwise decisions, and ended up 1. doing alot of things I regret and 2. getting pregnant at 19. Luckily I was smart enough as soon as I got pregnant to quit everything and have been clean for 4 years now...but the thing is I only did it "socially" , I was not what you would have considered an addict...at all...and obviously I tried many other things along with X...because drugs not only affect you, but they affect eachother in affecting you as well. Point I'm trying to make is....you need to decide whether you think your ready to go down that road....I would love to be able to tell my daughter I had never done anything, but really, if I hadn't what would I do when the time came in her life where she desired to "experience", and I had no clue what to do or say to her because I didn't know what it was like. Truthfully it is a very dangerous path ...that could lead to the destruction of your life....or if you have enough discipline ...you can get yourself out of it.....you need to make the decision on what you think is right for you...and completley know the affects and the consequences of the drug you decide (if you decide) to take. I hope this helps...

One more thing....when I was in that....the "scene" and "lifestyle" became more addictive than the actual drug....I have friends that I met through drugs that are clean like I am now...and we can literally sit and laugh till we cry for hours upon hours of the crazy stuff we did while on drugs....but I am more than happy to be clean now...because with that particular drug...you dont feel normal when in the "normal" world it all feels dull and mundane....seriously...I personally don't think it's a bad idea to try something...because you don't want to grow old and die wishing you had done something in your life....you have to weigh the good and the bad...do research...see what you think you would like to try...be careful of those that may be easier to get addicted to than others...and like the guy said above (who did a great job by the way) alcohol is a drug as well...and people spend too much time reflecting and populizing the negative things...than giving a fair arguement.. for instance...weed...is prescribed to those in cali...and apparently its not to hard to get....you just have to weigh in what is ok...and what the government just literally doesnt want you to do....your body...your decision

smoke a joint-not as harmful as others. worse case you'll laugh alot.

try weed or salvia
do not do E it goes into your spine and gives u a VERY sore back for a very long time if not forever

Don't bother...drugs are overrated and are dangerous...but if I thought they were cool I'd say Mary Jane is the way to go but I don't....so don't do it.

If those people you call your friends want you to do drugs, they are not your friends. Don't fall into the peer pressure. Drugs is not a lifestyle or a game. People overdose all the time. Will it be you?

You say just one time Better just forget it.

It's normal to experiment, and it really depends on the type of drug that you would be trying. There are some drugs like heroin, meth, or cocaine that can lead to dire consequences if you test it even once. It can lead to addiction, an overdose or medical problems because you do not know your personal boundaries in respect to that drug.

If you are still interested in trying out a certain drug, my best advice to you is to research what you can about it, so that you can know what to expect and consume it in a safe and controlled environment in which you can get what you need whenever you need it.

If you have any more specific questions, please don't hesitate to send me a private message so that I can give you more detailed information (I am not judgemental, but I do have experience with some drugs and you're going to do it no matter what, so I would like to help you make a safe decision)

never inject, be careful of pills, puff isnt worth trying in this country (go to holland instead) and so many people try it JUST ONCE and give it up 20 years latter,
one way or another you are better off without droogs,
trust me i know

Mary jane ! just plan on staying wherever you are...but dont do it just because they want you to, do it because you want to do it.

Please do not try any other drug.....honestly. I know people who started or tried and cant get off of more serious drugs. I can smoke M.J. one day and be fine to not smoke again for months so....

I hope that you don't make yourself have a heart attack and drop dead. I really do. I hope that you do not take one that causes you to be all terribly chummy, and to have sex that is not protected sex, etc.. I hope that you do not walk where traffic is and get run over, or jump, trying to fly, from a tall place...........I hope you CAN only try it once, without feeling that you want THAT particular feeling again. If so, you may need to change what drug you try...........again, leaving you open to harder drugs and more danger. I wish you luck. I really do. I have never taken drugs and am very happy with that. Did my friends do drugs? Yes, some of them. Did people in my family lose everything they ever HAD in their lives because of drugs? Yes, they did.........and then, they died.

jut take 1 advil and answer this

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...

hey at this 1ce u might get addicted to it.. then start liking it , then maybe u might take 1 again after few week.. then twice a week then as usal u might get into it.. so i suggest u don't.. just ignore it.. well its for ure gud.. and who knws wht cud happen

yeah. if you try smoking pot cause you want to see what it's like, then what happens if you find you like it and it's easy to get because all your friends do it? They call it the gateway drug because if you like it, you'll want to do it againand maybe other things too. Don't give into peer pressure and don't do anything illegal. Be proud to be able to honestly tell your children one day that you've never done drugs and you will be their greatest hero and roll model.

DRUGS are ILLEGAL. That means drugs are a CRIME. If you experiment, you could get caught. If your parents or your school find out, it WILL RUIN your LIFE. Wouldn't you like to be able to tell your kids and grandkids that you have never tried drugs. Get better friends and your own brain. Your friends shouldn't be thinking for you! Drugs hurt you. You can die from just trying. Do something better with your time, because you have only one life, and why would you want to waste it getting high! Do something fun when you get the temptation, for example, drink a milkshake, or go for a swim. This is your life, and drugs will pollute your future. Drugs won't make you happy and you will get hooked from just trying. Drugs are illegal for a reason! You will feel guilty forEVER!

I am still trying to figure out to what magnitude of narcotic use is classified as "crazy hobo way".

I am a recovering heroin addict and I don't recall ever getting all "crazy hobo" when I was using...that is some heavy sh*t.

"Don't make me get all CRAZY HOBO all over you dawg!"

HA!

And to the poster that said "E gets all up into your spine and makes your back hurt..." - get it straight.

E makes your back hurt because you get super dehydrated forcing your kidneys to overwork themselves. Have any idea where your kidneys are? Yeah, your lower back...

Fact is, booze can be just as dangerous as recreational drugs. It is all a risk to some extent. All the incorrect propaganda surrounding recreational drugs is more dangerous than experimentation itself.

I have thought for years that if there were legitimate facts and education about drugs and their effects, it may take the mystery/risk/Pandora's box appeal out of wanting to use them in the first place.

In the end you will have to decide what is best for you. Whatever you do, don't let your "friends" or dipsh*ts with all their facts ***-backwards persuade you either way.

There is a bit of truth behind the term "better living through chemistry" but also in the term "moderation is the key".

WORD.

It's normal to want to experiment for the sake of at least trying
yet be careful. Some drugs are dangerous even for recreational use. I don't want to suggest anything to you, I beleive that's up to you, but go easy. Nothing too hard for your first time.

Chances are, if all your friends do drugs, this will not be a one time thing. Any drug is at least somewhat addictive, even if it's just once. I suggest if you are not prepared to battle with the feelings of wanting more along with feeling some type of pressure from your friends to continue, then you should not try it. Many people ruin their lives starting out by 'just trying it out', one thing leads to another. If you really do want to though, weed might be the best, but also is very tempting to keep doing. Definitely stay away from pills of any kind.

I don't want you to think I'm saying your friends will pressure you into it. It's that being around it on a regular basis makes it so much more tempting, especially after knowing how great it feels.

Trying drugs is up to you, honestly there isn't a lot anyone can say to support you or cause you to run away from drugs and never touch them. Millions of Americans do drugs including people that you would think don't. Every generation has it's pick drug for that decade. Geez, the 60's had LSD, the 70's has Cocaine and a lot of it everywhere, then there was ecstacy, then crank and now we have meth and a lot of meth everywhere. You should know somethings about a drug before you take it and that includes drugs prescribed by a doctor. Regulated drugs are what a doctor gives to a patient. Non regulated drugs are what you buy black market, on the street. Non regulated drugs are exactly that, there is no goverment agency making sure that the drug is controlled and is what the makers claim it is. All drugs have side effects, called a hang over which means when that drug is done in your system you will feel dehydrated with a severe headache (alcohol consumption) You may feel completely exhausted ( ecstacy users are so exhauseted and wore out that they sometimes experience what is called a black monday, depression) Also know that a hang over effect from a drug is the feeling that you must try more of the drug (which is why smokers light up another one even though they know its bad for them) The feeling to do more of the drug often compells people into un escaple habits, so in experimenting you will have to be careful about that, and just remember that the drug you tried does that. Knowing how drugs work and the hangover effect is about the smartest thing you could do, other than listening to me when I say please don't go down this road. Drugs are very powerful and so alluring. If you try anything just to try it, please remember that often drugs have the effect of causing a person to do more and more....you may have to ride this out. The first step drugs are of course alcohol and pot. Alot of people like pain drugs. Please smoke or swallow only. PLease do not try drugs by a needle and I am going to tell you why.....it is so habit forming that people next to never get over it and are hooked the first few times they go by needle. The needle ushers the drug straight to the brain at an impact (called a rush) and more sooner than ever later it takes more amounts of the drug to cause this addictive rush. I want you to know that lots of people do drugs, including people that you think don't.....and the people are never squirrely or seem like a dope head, or look aloof or come across as a loser in society. Drugs are extremely popular and have been since the founding of our country with age old drugs like herion that doctors themselves used. But one thing in common that a majority of these people all share is addiction. PLease be careful. Fun is fun and thats fine, but you must draw up your own rules for yourself and stand by them.

DONT DO DRUGS YOU ARE A FOOL AND YOUR FRIENDS ARE HOBOS
