Or you could have HS. Hydrenaditis Supporativa. It is a skin conditon of the apocrine glands. It is severe painful, and embarrassing hair bumps in the arm pits, under breasts, and groin area.
Have you had these bumps anywhere else?
could be an ingrown hair...or it could be a boil. if you notice it getting more tender (painful) day by day you need to go to the doctor ASAP! because if its a boil, the infection could possibly spread through your body!
Ingrown hair is likely. Is it under the skin? How big is it? The armit area - under the skin - is home to many lymph nodes, which are part of the immune system. A big lump there can be a sign of infection. If it doesn't go away in a week or so, see the doc.
If it is more in the skin than below it, it probably is an infection from a hair or small cut. Try warm water compresses/soaks in the tub; that might help.
