Got a heel/foot related question for all you health professionals out there?!
Question: for a while now(approx 12 months maybe more) on a morning when i get up im having alot of pain when i put my heel to the floor, some mornings i cant even out my foot on the floor at all, i have it nearly every day and it seems to be getting worse, i was wondering if this is something that could be easily solved without having to go to my g.p or is it something that needs medical attention?? thanks in advance for you time xxxx

Consult your doctor.
Had that so many times, it is a heel spur. I have found many cures. One is to take a can, any kind soup, beans etc., and place it under the center or arch part and roll back and forth. This relaxes the muscles, and stretches it out. Also, Dr Scholl's Gel foot inserts, also the best tennis shoes in the world are the Asics they have gel in them also.
