Do bedbugs attack everyone or just certain people?!


Question: my husband thinks we have them....i have never been bitten nor seen any. lol i know this is silly and i dont think bed bugs are picky!!

no they are not picky and they are almost unheard of but making a comeback. you have to get rid of the bed and clean all other things in very hot temps water and dryer and bag things that means any an all thing including the frame the rugs etc.

i would call the health detp or go to www.cdc.gov and learn more. someone brought them into our home and my kids had them bad. they leave bites and marks all over. not good.

they eat anyone. they look flat and very small but they tend to gather in the seams ofa mattress and rails of the bed. before you throw the mattress out you should slash it to make sure no one else takes it and spread the bugs around.

    nope, anything with blood, it will suck on.
    From what I know, they only attack those whose skin sheds. Everyone sheds skin by the pounds every week. Maybe it's because only that side of the bed has them.

    Bedbugs are actually very very uncommon in the US. It is unlikely you have them and no they arent picky.

    Area that are experienceing a resurgence of bedbugs are area of heavy immigration populations (they bring them from other countries) in rental communites.

    The apt complex I lived in had a problem in an apt. last year and the local newspaper did a whole article on them.

    Your husband may be allergic to the mites that live in beds. Or he may in fact be getting bit by something but chances are it isnt bedbugs.
    for starters...you may wanna buy soap and and start taking showers! AND MAKE SURE TO WASH YOUR AZZ! =}
    Wash your bedding in hot water and vacuum the mattress, then spray it with frebreeze. See if this helps, if not you may have to call an exterminator, it is real and no they are not picky.
    LOL. Yeah, bed bugs are not picky. I found five steps for you to do to check.

    Step One Check your bed linens in the middle of the night, when bed bugs are most active easiest to locate.


    2 Step See movement? Bed bugs usually travel as groups of two or three in a row.

    3 Step Look at the insects' bodies. Immature bed bugs are a light yellow color; adults are a reddish brown. In both cases, the middle part of their bodies will be darker after they have recently fed (they turn darker because they feed on blood).

    4 Step Not sure based on the color of the insect? Look at their size: bed bugs are smaller than 1/4 of an inch long.


    5 Step Still not entirely certain? Determine whether the bug has wings or not (bed bugs do not); look at its shape (bed bugs are oval and flat in shape).
    yea they do! i got bit by them today and my mom last week. although my moms boyfrend [WHO I HATE SO MUCH] never got bit
