Knee Problem!?!

Question: Ever since I was little. When I ran I would fall and experience a lot of pain. I have tried everything... I have seen so many people. But no one seems to know why. After I fall. My knee swells. It does not hurt when I walk or run normally.. I just feel really weak in the knees.
I am still fairly young.

I am wondering if at one time or another you hurt your knee badly enough and have some scar tissue. Maybe and mri of the knee could give you answers, in the meantime ice it when it swells
