Yes yes yes yes and YESS. Absolutely. What you describe I have the exact same thing and when I'm stressed it gets irritating and more patches crop up in really random places like the inside of my bicep! When I was really stressed a few years ago, a small patch I have on my face started growing. In 24 hours I looked like a burn victim - my face was really really red and patchy and itchy as hell. It's just excema, nothing to worry about.
But I'd recommend using E45 cream, not lotion, on your face daily. That should keep it at bay, especially during these cold months. Otherwise, see the doctor and they'll most likely prescribe a hydrocortisone cream. I'd recommend seeing the doctor anyway - I reckon it is only excema, but just to be on the safe side that it's not ringworm or something nasty like that. It seems unlikely, but it's worth a trip =)

yes stress can cause flare ups, but could this be that your home is too dry with the furnace running throughout the winter?I'd try getting more moisture in the air

It could be stress, it could be a skin allergy, it could be eczema which is often associated with diet... I have eczema and it's pretty much associated with my diet and allergies that I have. I'd talk to a doctor, preferably a specialist, and figure out what it is and how to change your diet (assuming it's eczema) to get rid of it. The skin problems I have (and my mother and aunt have the same thing) all get worse when we're stressed.

I feel like I should note, I'm not a doctor, so take anything I say with a grain of salt :).

yes stress is something that can cause flare ups. e45 cream is brill for dry skin. might be better to go and see your doctor.

it could phroasis you need to go to the doctors and get some steriod cream

I get flare-ups when stressed, also get a red rash over my neck and chest.

yes. drink plenty of water and apply lotion to rehydrate your skin.

Stress can cause many problems with your body
most common is your stomach digestion

sounds like eczema hun and stress can definately cause it to flare up. you need get some medical advice before you put any creams or anything on it!!

yes

my son has ecezma and when he gets stressed or upset his skin flares up very bad, we have to use a moisturiser to keep it under control.

For dry skin, use a creamy cleanser to melt away dirt. Leave it on your skin before sweeping it away with cotton wool. Splash cold water onto your face to clean and refresh your skin. Use a thick cream moisturizer to seal in as much moisture as possible and have a refreshing feel.check out http://tipsfromruby-skincare.blogspot.co...
