HUman Papilloma Virus?!
Question: I want to go and take the Gardisil shot to prevent HPV but i hear in the news that the shot is so painful that women or girl who took literally passed out, is that true. I want to take the shot but i am afraid, i am afraid of getting vaccinate. I heard that you have at least take 2 or 3 shot prior six month.
if some of you had the shot before how was it?

I already took my first shot and my second shot will be in Feb 11th. My best friend is also getting her HPV vaccine shot soon. It was Just like any other shot, I didn't feel pain or anything.

I haven't had it but it is a series of 3 shots.
Many people pass out during injections not because they are painful, but because of nervousness and fright. You need 3 injections: 0, 1 and 6 months. These injections are OK, you may feel more swelling en slight pain after the third injection (6 months after your first shot) since by then your immune system is primed and ready.
I've never had the shot, but you do realize that it doesn't protect you from all of the human papilloma viruses right?
