How can people be so ignorant and marry a 12 years old child with an old man just for a caw? And than they don't mind on their daughters health? Now I understand why this horrible disease spread a lot in Africa because of the ignorant mentality.

Any Aids story is a horrible story.
As for the culture, this has nothing to do with how the girl got the virus. She actually received it from her Aunts Husband.
The scenario could have happened anywhere in the world minus the details of the wedding traditions.
What spreads this disease is the fact that people ignore ways to prevent it in the first place. It's all sad.
Well, the culture is alot different in Africa.
