Has anyone ever heard of polymembranous?!

Question: It's for work. I'm not even sure if I'm spelling it right. If you know what it is or even just how to spell it it would be much appreciated.

Polymembranous simply means that something is surrounded by more than one membrane. Some cells are polymembranous. It can refer to other things with membranes also though.

nope..but my bio teach mentioned it once

Are you talking about polyhydramnios, which is an excess of amniotic fluid in a pregnancy?
Otherwise, I don't know what you are talking about.
