How do I tell if I have OCD?!

Question: I think I have OCD.
I mean according to my health class I have all the symptoms; and I have thought I have had for a long time before that.
Is there a site I can go onto to "check" or to look at more symptoms that go into greater detail?

Thanks for your help! = )

I don't know of a website..but I am OCD! Things need to be in order or I am twitching and itching to fix it--even if it is not my area!
I have color issues--obsessed with Crayola :)
I seperate my food by colors--even things that taste the same...i.e. M&M's, colored Goldfish crackers...and I make people around me eat only one color with me..(they will be on my desk in all these cups and people always ask...can I have one? and I am like only if you eat--whatever color I am currently eating! ODD I know..and my friends will take the wrong colors just to freak me out--nearly bringing me to tears:)

I don't do the washing of the hands or locking of doors or counting....my issue is color and order--everything in its place..alphabetical order..chronological order..

My closet is the best example...all the blue shirts are together...yet seperated by hue...and it is this way for all the colors...jeans and sweaters...everything has to be in a specific order..my husband has given up hanging up my clothes!!LOL

do you have impulses to touch random things?

There might be, but there are more sure-fire options. See ur doctor and ask, or mab som1 u no that has OCD. OCD means that u pretty much have to fix everything that is not straight or perfect. U might hve OCPD, obsessive compulsive personality disorder, which means u want to fix the disordered things, but u can function if u dont fix it.

I have OCD. I diagnosed myself after beginning to suspect it. This site is very helpful: http://understanding_ocd.tripod.com/ocd_...

If you truly think you have a problem, see a therapist, since OCD is one of the most disabling disorders in America.
