Could a sinus headache last longer than a week?!

Question: It comes and goes

Answers: It comes and goes

Ha! Hell yes they can last longer than a week.

I hope you dont envision a little monster creeping around your sinuses that has a time-limit too take over your body.

I used to have TERRIBLE sinus infection with sinus headaches... and sure I would have bad days and good days... Well when I was a senior in high school, I got mono, then strep, then got my tonsils out.

While I was sick, they scraped my sinuses... and said they had been infected for YEARS.
The taste and smell was unbearable when they washed it out...

*sorry for the disgusting elements*

I suggest going through the trial & error method of finding an allergy/asthma medication you can take and handle that helps you. I know you must be miserable, and I am so sorry for your pain-- I really am.
I still get infections, but I have tried this thing called a "Netty Pot" or "Netti Pot" ... but its been raved about all over the US on tv and whatnot... and its more of a holistic approach-- because it only uses saline to flush your sinuses out.. and it can be akward.. but I swear, it has worked better than any other med or pill or spray-- ever.

If not open to that-- try the newer nasal spray on the market.... called VERAMYST.
It is actually more like a mist than a spray. You dont feel it or smell it, or taste it.. and it doesnt go down the back of your throat and make you gag.

Good luck!

I don't know. Mine hurt a lot so I use Afrin and take a really long hot shower so I can breathe the steam. The headache usually goes away overnight - two days at most.

yes, I have obstructed sinuses, and they can cause serious headaches...my last lasted from thursday the elventh through last monday (21)

Yes.

Need to see an ear, nose throat doc.

Need to get it dry or drained and cleaned out, Afrin and others have some stuff over the counter for various discomfort, try them. See what happens.
