Alternative to pseudoephedrine?!

Question: I suffer from frequent sinus headaches, which only pseudoephedrine seems to cure. This medicine, however, dries me out and causes my face to twitch, which is bad because I am an aspiring professional brass player. I have been instructed by my teacher to switch to something else, but nothing I have tried works to cure these headaches (such as phenylephrine, aspirin, tylenol or diphenhydramine). Is there something else that might work?

If you're experiencing facial twitches, you're taking too much. Try spacing your doses out at least 6 hours apart. Or get an extended release pseudofed. Limit caffeine intake while on this medication. Yes, phenylephrine sucks, but then again so does tylenol. Try 600mg of ibuprofen (advil, motrin) along with a little less pseudofed. You have to take 600mg of ibuprofen to get the anti-inflamatory effects. Good luck!
