Stomach pain after eating mutton dish?!
Question: A friend took me to a hotel at the outskirts of the city and ordered a special mutton curry dish for us. I had not eaten mutton for a long time and after having the dish i have been suffering from stomach pain for weeks now. The doctor said i just had gas and gave a tablet for a day but it seems of no use.
I get pain after eating food. I get hungry and get pain if i have not eaten. My stomach seems bloated with gas sometime and i have to pass nasty smelling gas which after so many days smells like that mutton i had days back.
Please tell me when will the pain stop.
Is there something i can do to stop pain.

IT MAY BE SERIOUS................!!!!!
It may be possible that you have E. Coli or another form of food poisoning. E. Coli is very common from mutton. I would definitely return to the doctor, or see another doctor to have the appropriate tests and get treatment.
i suggest you should have ornidazole 500mg tablets for three days.one tab a day. i too have gone through this problem.i took this medicine and got a great relief.
