Question: Have u considered getting an insulin pump? b/c i use to take insulin by injections since i was 5yrs old, but now i luv my new PUMP. it helps me control my glucose levels better and i have more control of my life.

I am on a pump and I LOVE IT. It does allow for so mcuh more freedom, and better control. It's so nice to change the site every couple days, instead of having to take 4 shots a day.
pumps are better but may give you more chance of hypos so you will need to be more alert, a pump will need to be refilled often and a change of needle every 3 days
yea, i have the pump but its really too conspicuos for me because i dont want anyone at my school to know i have diabetes, so its kind of hard to hide , but the shots , while they are kind of uncomftorbale, absorb a lotttt faster, so there are pros and cons to both sides. yehppp :)
